Bill Jones is an award winning portrait photographer and digital artist who thrives on challenge. As a photographer, set designer, and landscape artist, Bill approaches his trade with passion and intensity. For almost 30 years, Bill has striven to push the creative boundaries of his craft with each client and insists on delivering excellence in customer service and unparalleled quality of work.
Bill has studied at the Winnona School of Professional Photography, and over a dozen times at the Texas school with the country's leading photographers. Each year he furthers his education as a member of: Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Louisiana, Southwest Professional Photographers, Senior Portrait Artists, Senior Photographers International, and Children's Photographers International
In 2003, Bill was given a Master's degree from Senior Photographers International at their convention in Orlando, making him only the sixth person in the world to have received this honor.
Studio Overview
Bill's studio, located on the edge of Black Bayou, is more than 5 acres across and has more than a quarter mile of coastline. It has a large multi-room studio, an old general store style building, various gardens, bridges, patios, a New Orleans style courtyard, our "9th-Street West" abandoned warehouse, a professional grade digital editing lab, and a gallery of some of his favorite work. Almost anywhere you look, you can be photographed on one-of-a-kind sets designed specifically for portraits.
